River carps are absolutely nuts, my first ever river carp my rod was just rock solid bent to the max, i never felt that type of force on the end of the rod, turned out to be a little 6 pounder, i coudlnt believe he was so small

Ah, Judith from AngelSpezi Blenz in Weiden i. d. Opf.. Never knew she had a private 2,5ha pond. Nice. Their store always had fine good stuff for carp fishing. Now i know exactly why. Sad, that their shop closed 2 years ago or so?!? I see that you were fishing a nice area that i also like. More downstream at Luhe, leaving Luhe to Grünau, there are some really nice ponds (Bayerl Kiesgruben) and a nice stretch of the Naab. My biggest mirror carp in the Naab was 72cm and fought like a 90cm+ lazy pond carp, but more hyperactive. XD I think i got him with four pieces of Frolic Unterwegs Rind(!!!! only ever use beef variatons of their dog food!!!) and adjustable hair rig leader, with old school anti tangle and 70gr. Lead. Greetings from the Oberpfalz.

Germany is a nice place I liked bavaria when I was there beautiful in summer and in winter when its covered in snow there are some very big trout in some of the rivers aswell pity you missed out on the bars the beer is not bad either carp looked awesome

Most less Carpy souls just get stuck in a country and can't get home or fish because of the Covid restrictions. But old golden balls gets lumbered in the bosom of a beautiful girlfriend, with a river stuffed full of wild carp on her doorstep. Not only that, but she likes fishing too! Now you can get to a point where it's no longer Carpy, but starts taking the piss out of the rest of us......lol!
