It sounds that the most underlaying factor is diet. Carnívore diet (beef and fat) seems to be healing and also a preventing measure.

Hi excellent explanation ….. many in the professional is not like U… I have carpal tunnel syndrome almost a year in my eighties now and try n stay on top of this disorder the accupuncturist I see helps me a lot …… just saying old age plays out disorders from past illness never leaves the biological of U🇳🇿🌈

2:10 the blue color at thenar on this diagram will not be affected sensory wise because its nerve emerge before carpal tunnel but the muscles of thenar will atrophy by time if not treated

hmmm.... I disagree. a small section of the lateral thenar eminence is supplied by the radial nerve, but the bulk of the thenar is absolutely supplied by the median nerve, all of which passes through the carpal tunnel.

@@helicart Just Search Palmar Branch Of Median Nerve and you will know it will emerge very long before the wrist around 1/3 distal radius bone level. The remaining sensory nerves of median nerve affected by carpal tunnel syndrome are "common palmar digital nerve" and "proper palmar digital nerve" You need a good Atlas of anatomy to see these facts, like eg Netter

Yesterday my hand got twisted by mistake so I didn't have any swelling but when I bend my wrist it hurts although touching from outside doesn't hurt and other than this no symptoms is it Carpel Tunnel Syndrome

Question. What if you get no numbness or pain in the blue areas, but you have pain only in the wrist of the green areas? My doctor said i have ct, but the treatment's he prescribes are all exorcises in the blue zones, and do nothing for the area i actually have problems with.

Is that the same nerve that is the shoulder and neck. I have shoulder and neck pain and don't know if it is all related to carpal tunnel.
