Love the concept too, working that cooperative angle and building it back up with the more locally available gear and such. What a genuinely incredible map I think if there ever was such a thing this would easily win "best map award" easily beats the base game ones. The only one that could come close will be court farms from oxygendavid whenever that comes to console. Can't wait until the weekend I'm going to lose the whole 2 days to this map. I've said it before and I'll say it again, worry less about pleasing everyone, and play a save how you want, and people who enjoy will watch and people who do not, will not. You cannot please all the people all the time, but we love that you try! I like the idea of this save! Back to basics, and not getting bogged down with nothing to do in winter and so inventing jobs to pass the time. My two cents on production chains is not so much they are bad or boring (I mean pallet physics in the game make moving pallets absolutely painful, but that is Giant's fault for not thinking "oh we are making the game about pallets, should we fix the physics?". Some production chains are fine. The base game ones are balanced and slow enough to fit in with the game economy. The real issue I have is with the modded ones that are so unbalanced they not only destroy the economy of the game, but the immersion I have in playing or watching. For playing, it is easy, I do not use them. For me it is the things where you get 10x the product out than you put in (which defies a lot of the laws of thermodynamics), or the ones which work so stupidly fast that you can make 10 million pallets of planks in 2 seconds (or whatever). In this case, it is a cooperative. So maybe use the productions on the map as they were intended, because that is what a cooperative might do. The "buy" fee is not a buy fee, it is a cost to buy into the production cooperative. Something like that. Just throwing out some ideas!

And to be brutally honest, the reason why people say your let's plays have become boring is because there has been little variation in them in the FS22 cycle. Stone Valley was good because it was different to what you usually do. Lately your let's plays have all been make as much money by whatever means I can even if dodgy and scale up. And the way that FS22 is slower in growth cycles you would often have scaled everything up before the first full harvest cycle. So while how you make your money varies, you reach the first harvest (after the initial ones like you do now) and have all the big kit and money to get anything you want. I find it a pacing problem. Which, from the sound of it, you are going to play around with here. Which makes me excited for this let's play.

It feels like every let's play that he has done on FS22 starts with him buying all of the cheapest (sometimes dodgy) equipment from Modhub, then he gets to a cheap, dodgy multifruit silo, then cheap, dodgy productions (the manure factory and farm production pack are the worst) to try to make tons of money overnight (usually under the guise of "I need something to do in the winter". Then he has tons of money and buys whatever he wants. It's fine if he wants to play like that, but it doesn't make an interesting KZbin series, and if he puts it up as a KZbin series, then it is going to get criticized.

Absolutely 👍 Brilliant Map and choice for a Let’s Play! The Grass Texture before/after being cut might be the best in the Game! The Details and Textures and the overall layout and feel are amazing! My only wish is to be able to plant Wheat and Barley in Spring! A custom crop calendar would be great! Other than that ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Liking the plan so far. I'm not a production chain hater as such but if you're not careful they can begin to dominate the game and it devolves into pallet shifting simulator. At least with this setup you're not going to be buying up local businesses left right and centre. Looking forward to seeing how you progress.

Great episode mr P just for your information where I live the farmers set up feed mill and produce buying and selling and it’s the same in different parts of the country like WCF, NMF, SWFL and there’s more in different parts of the country they are just around here and a lot of the feed mill were originally set up by farmers to make money farmers also do haulage firms and have been doing it for quite a few years at least 50 and more so productions have been involved in farming for years and is a natural way to go and make money keep up with the great work which ever way you want to do it 👏👏👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just my humble opinion, I find I make more money and make it quicker when I just focus on my farm, I dont do contracts and skip days until my crops need something doing. So in game years fly by but my hours in game are down to get to the same point.

I think contracts in 22 are a bigger time suck with less payout then 19 and unless I have a really good setup for fert contracts I skip them all together.

Hi there the refill point for the liquid fertilizer is in between the fertilizer silos in front of the grate on the driveway part you don't drive onto the grate I had a look after watching this video

Maybe the bank has put a lock on an isolation valve on the liquid fertilizer tanks. Their way of ensuring there was something left over to make money from after the previous owners did a runner?

Easy way to get that liquid fertiliser out of the silo tank - hand drill and bucket, with a cork on standby 😉

I don’t understand how people watch or don’t watch based on how rich or poor you are, I watch you as a content creator, because I enjoy the content you make. If I had a pick of your settings for a let’s play, then I would say “completely vanilla”. It’s something you do at the release of a new version, but after it has been out a while it would be good to see you put everything you know to the test. With no cheap way of buying seed or fert, no extra sell points, no modded cheap machinery. But that’s just me. I won’t not watch because you don’t do that as you make great content in however you play.

I am one who does not like production chains. Just simply moving stuff around. If you are doing 2 lets plays do one old style and one new. Hopefully, although fewer watchers of each series you are covering your bases. You should still get followers for your famous mod reviews and map tours.
