I came back to my favorite forest, where I managed to recover a small medieval hammered coin "parvus" of John of Luxembourg, part of a medieval fibula. awesome set of iron axes and very nice cross of "Conceptio Immaculata" type from 18th century. My plan was to visit new spot, where I expected to find traces of medieval road, which connects to a very old merchant road. First, I wanted to sweep the spot, where I have found the cross last time. This is approximately 3 kilometres from the desired medieval road. I knew this would be a hard #metaldetecting day, but suspected it might end with a handful of perfect finds in return.
I consult my finds with an archaeologist and hand over the finds for research and documenting. I had only good experience working with the experts in their fields and recommend cooperating with archaeological institutions to every metal detectorist out there.
If you're interested in the gear I use in my videos, you can check the list in the ABOUT section of my channel. I plan on releasing some metal detector testing videos in the future.
Thanks for watching and see you again!
