im so surprised by this 😳 when they had their ballet pink one debut i was so excited and emailed the company to doublecheck because of the confusing marketing and was told it "wasnt suitable for vegans" which was super disappointing. very nice to finally find out that they are actually cruelty-free planners! ☺️ thanks for your great investigative efforts!! 🙌🏻

Yes, I had exactly the same experience of emailing the company and being told that they weren't suitable for vegans. Then I went around warning vegans to avoid them for the next two years, only to find out they were vegan the whole time...I wish the labelling around leather was more consistent and unambiguous! But like you, I'm mainly just happy to find out they're cruelty-free after all :)

I'm thinking of punching them with the Happy Planner punch and making them into discbound inserts. I would really like that, but I'm worried that the ring punch holes will annoy me, and I'm not sure if I can be bothered to cover each page with washi before I punch it...so the dilemma goes on!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm curious about them too, so I'll have a look. I've been trying to ban myself from buying dated planners unless I know what I'm going to use them for, but sometimes doing a review is enough of a reason :) I've got a couple of other reviews of UK based planners coming up already, so hopefully you'll find them interesting too!

Wow...that’s some “error”. I’m really glad it’s not made from animal products but how can a company “accidentally” put on all its products and marketing material something untrue ‘by mistake’? Pretty misleading! Love your videos!

I can't believe that you bought another ring bound planner!!!!😂😂😂🤣😂 I don't really get all of this "split leather " labeling- it's either leather or not!!!! If you WILL make it a disc bound planner, and don't want the inserts and the rings, I would be glad to get them!!! 😂😂😂 I want a big RING bound planner for 2018!!!😍😍😍😂😂😂🤣🤣👽👽👽I ☻☻☻

I actually have a reason for buying it - I want to use it as a binder for reference materials related to our flat :) I have been planning on punching the inserts with a discbound punch - since they're undated I can take some time to think of what to use them for. They would be like Happy Planner inserts but A5...

Re leather, the labelling is so confusing and can be really frustrating. Split leather is a thin layer of leather fused with plastic - apparently this is done to make it cheaper. But as you said, it is still leather!
