Well, to be real, the sexual revolution wasn't very old at that point, so she wasn't even on the conservative side for her era, especially as a Christian. In fact, she's wearing a crop top later on in concert and was clearly becoming another 'liberated' white female. I doubt she'd be much different from the pop stars now if she was born in this era, not the worst of them, but she'd follow many of the fashions.

PERIOD! Yet look at how BEAUTIFUL she looks. I adored her Soooo much. But I often time thought she was very sad and that she was crying out much in her songs and I remember her story some news reporter made a awful comment about he referring to her as your fat chubby little sister rather and from that moment, she thought was fat funny people say that words cannot hurt, but that is not true. Words can kill the spirit - I know because I suffered from words spoken to me as a child. She was a beautiful soul wasn’t.

It's now February 2022 and I'll be 65 years old in December and plan on retiring at the end of this year. It brings tears to my eyes listening to this 50 years later wondering how 50 years have come and gone.

The description of Karen Carpenter: An angelic voice that has earned her wings, not only in music, but as a person that loved her music and fans. She was the greatest singer, male or female, excellent musician that carved her in all hall of fames. I still have many of her 45's, I'll cherish her voice for the rest of my life. My prayers for you to Rest In Peace Karen Carpenter, missing you, always! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤🕊

SUPERNATURALLY GIFTED & ANOINTED BY GOD> PLAIN & SIMPLE! EVERY SONG SINCE 'CLOSE TO YOU' & 'WE'VE ONLY JUST BEGUN' etc. WENT MULTI-PLATINUM 'WORLD WIDE' > 'ALBUMS' WERE A TSUNAMI OUT OF STORES INTO THE PUBLIC! IN THEIR 1st 5 Yrs. alone > DURING THE ERA OF ANTI-AMERICA ANTI-GOD ACID ROCK > CAL BERKELEY BLACK PANTHERS SDS SOCIALISM RIOTS BURNING & LOOTING etc. THE 'CARPENTERS' (Little Bo-Peep & Big Brother Producer / Arranger Richard) were the MEDICINE SENT BY ALMIGHTY GOD!

CARPENTERS plain & simple were GIFTED & ANOINTED & ORDAINED by God to impact a Nation & Society at a time of Dark Evil Turmoil dividing America > CARPENTERS Shot Up like a METEOR by God's Hand (15 Mega Hits & 20+M Sales in just 1st 4 yrs.) still a Record today 2021 & they needed to Recognize that Divine Gift & God's Agenda & Seek God's Presence to GUIDE them > Not HOLLYWOOD guiding them.

Oh Karen, I wish I could’ve told you how truly beautiful you were and how you didn’t need to change anything in your body. The whole world would’ve loved to see you grow old and would’ve been very grateful just to see and hear you sing again and again, year after year. You will never be matched nor forgotten.
