Well, to be real, the sexual revolution wasn't very old at that point, so she wasn't even on the conservative side for her era, especially as a Christian. In fact, she's wearing a crop top later on in concert and was clearly becoming another 'liberated' white female. I doubt she'd be much different from the pop stars now if she was born in this era, not the worst of them, but she'd follow many of the fashions.

The description of Karen Carpenter: An angelic voice that has earned her wings, not only in music, but as a person that loved her music and fans. She was the greatest singer, male or female, excellent musician that carved her in all hall of fames. I still have many of her 45's, I'll cherish her voice for the rest of my life. My prayers for you to Rest In Peace Karen Carpenter, missing you, always! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤🕊

SUPERNATURALLY GIFTED & ANOINTED BY GOD> PLAIN & SIMPLE! EVERY SONG SINCE 'CLOSE TO YOU' & 'WE'VE ONLY JUST BEGUN' etc. WENT MULTI-PLATINUM 'WORLD WIDE' > 'ALBUMS' WERE A TSUNAMI OUT OF STORES INTO THE PUBLIC! IN THEIR 1st 5 Yrs. alone > DURING THE ERA OF ANTI-AMERICA ANTI-GOD ACID ROCK > CAL BERKELEY BLACK PANTHERS SDS SOCIALISM RIOTS BURNING & LOOTING etc. THE 'CARPENTERS' (Little Bo-Peep & Big Brother Producer / Arranger Richard) were the MEDICINE SENT BY ALMIGHTY GOD!

Truly an Angel ❤️🙏🕊️👼, and 🕯️ just like me...GOD wanted to be...🎵🎼🎶 Close to you 🤗, 🌹 and HE took her back... Up there. My Mom 💓 passed away suddenly, in 1972. I am quite sure she needed Karen 🤷😘
