History is fragile stuff, Martyn. Your followup protest that the recorded concert was actually in November of 1977 sent me scrambling for verification. I found none. Instead, from a variety of sources, I found..."27th November 1976 - on this day. The "Live At The Palladium" album was recorded in London." "Live At The Palladium' by the Carpenters, which was only released in the UK and Japan, made its British chart debut on January 8, 1977."

It was released in the states. Santa brought me a copy of this for Christmas 1976. This sounds really good but it's not the same performance as the LP I got back then.
