We have reached a time when there will now be people who go through their whole lives never hearing one of the most precious and beautiful voices ever to bless humanity.

I was born 81 days before Karen, I wish she was still here. I'm a 73 year old guy that still tears up when I hear her sing. She was simply the best. RIP beautiful soul.

Karen has now been gone for 40 years (March 2, 1950 - February 4, 1983) and still the best female singing voice I've ever heard, not to mention her drumming

It's now 2024. Karen has been gone 41 years and we all want more songs in her voice. Such a beautiful talent that we loved her more than she loved herself. ❤💔

Incredible talent. Karen's voice the best of any singer and to play the drums all at the same time. And Richard a very talented pianist too.

If I listen long enough to you I'd find the way to believe that it's all true Knowing that you lied straight face While I cried (*) And still I look To find a reason to believe Someone like you makes it hard to live Without somebody else Someone like you make it easy to give Never thinking of myself If you took the time to change my mind I could find a way To leave the past behind Knowing that you lied straight face While I cried Repeat (*) If I listen long enough to you I'd find the way to believe that it's all true Knowing that you lied straight face While I cried Repeat (*)
Wonder which LUDWIG DRUM kit she liked BETTER playing here😉😊😊😆

The Carpenters recorded "Reason to Believe" for their second LP, Close to You, in 1970. On television, the duo performed their version on The 5th Dimension Travelling Sunshine Show on August 18, 1971 and Make Your Own Kind of Music on September 7, 1971.

The backing 'vibe' is totally wrong! This is a sad song, not a jolly ditty.
