A good clear out once a Week is what I aim for. I was wearing the Occidental Leather tool vest with detachable bags for the last ten Years, I recently purchased a set of Occidental Leather ballistic nylon and leather reinforced bags. Just been breaking them in on my workshop build. Working from my left to my right this is what I carry, Six inch combi square, Eight inch cat's paw, Seven inch speed square, Old chisel, Stanley knife, Small and medium nail punch, Chalk line, 10oz/12oz/16oz Stiletto, Channelock pincers, Large nail punch, Long and short driver tips, Pica pencil, Carpenter's pencil, My kit changes with the job. I also have a smaller Occidental Leather tool belt for finish work. I know, I know I have a bit of an Occidental Leather fettish! 👍🤣🔨🇮🇪

@@thetallcarpenter It actually looks like more than it is. The bags are worn on the sides sitting on the hips gunslinger style. It's easy to get at what you need especially when your bent over. The ballistic nylon with leather reinforced high wear areas are a great combo. The titanium hammers are a game changer, i love my Stiletto's, 👍😁🔨🇮🇪
@TheToolnut3 жыл бұрын
Just to clarify I don't carry three hammers! 😆 I match the hammer to the job. Apart from the three Stiletto's I have a couple of steel Estwings for demo, scaffolding and general smashing and bashing. I wear a pair of Occidental Leather stronghold suspenders to spread the load across the shoulders. I can't work without my tool belt, the loss of productivity would be too much to handle. Nothing worse than being twenty feet up on a scaffolding or a ladder and you need some basic tool that you should have with you. If you multiply those trips up and down ladders, scaffolding and walking around a job looking for your tape, hammer, pencil. At least an hour a Day, multiply that by five and then by four. It all adds up, time is money, 👍🔨🇮🇪
