Nice to see all the classes we run locally here, though did I miss the 4wd buggies (I'm sure you ran them)? Instead of rally, we have a Traxxas Slash class that bang around on the track. Wish we could afford the click connectors, as instead we use 6" PVC pipe for the track at our indoor carpet off road. How many qualifier rounds do you run (we run 3)? How many mains are stacked at the end of the day (example C to A in 2wd, only A in SCT and Stadium?) It looked like a similar turnout to our club races as we have around 13 Mains at the end of the day with: 3x 2wd mains, 2x 4wd mains, 3x Stadium Truck, 2x SCT, 1x 2wd Mod, 1x Slash, 1x Novice (mixed bowl of nuts). Once the tent is up does it stay up all winter, or do you just put it up the day before the race (we setup the night before then practice on it for a few hours, then take it down right after the races and mains ... though we're inside an auditorium)? This weekend we have our 3 day race weekend, with folks coming in from all over Western Canada and a few from the US. I hope to record my races in it, though I'll likely be in the C mains ... hoping my kid makes a couple of the triple A's.

@@fhuzpatch we did run 4WD but I was in it and as you know don’t have a head cam. Same with 2WD B final. We run 4 heats and 1 final for each class. The white track markings is drainpipe with wooden inserts screwed to join and then hook and loop tape to the carpet. We use red fire hose filled with sand as well. The tent marquee is permanent owns by the venue. They use it for wedding receptions and event dinners in the summer. It’s not used much in winter son 90% of the time we can leave the track installed. Changing it every couple of weeks to keep the layout fresh.

Love it mate between the "only fans" dog😂 and the fantastic short course Truck action a great watch pal.... Can I ask what made you choose Xray As a pose to TA or Schumacher etc?

@@BrensRCracing I came back to RC around 2021. My last car when I was a lad was a Schumacher 4WD I never gelled with it and when I saw their current model was an even more complex belt drive that ruled Schu out. Although most popular car at our track and British. AE good but I’m not a fan of blue bling - seriously just cants do it. Good cars mind. Yokomo, TLR were very rare and seem to of had there best days. All research kept leading me to Xray particularly their 4WD which despite 2WD being more popular it’s what I knew from years ago. So XB4 19 with ‘orange’ bling floated my boat. Turned out to be a great choice IMO. Second hand made the cost reasonable and I really love they constantly iterate on each platform each year. Sorry long answer 😉
