Im building one right now i welded 2 pieces of metal and 2 c clamps for the part that grabs the carpet it should be good

How did you come up with the base platform sitting on the carpet?

@@bryanwallace2091 a piece of 2x2 3/4 of an inch plywood with 4 rods of tack strips on the button it works really good

How long did this winch last you or did it burn up quickly?

What size is your winch? 2500lbs? Also, did it come with a 110v plug?

Chad Snell It is 1500 lb. Yes, it came with the 110v cord setup. Harbor Freight sells both AC and DC ones.

Where did you buy the platform for the winch to drill into the wood?

Junior Vivar ... The winch came from harbor freight and the platform was included with it

Lo hice en casa. Utilicé un torno eléctrico comprado de HarborFreight.com
