Joe I'm glad you've done a review for an NGT product & it would be nice to see more. I know NGT gets a slating, but not everyone can afford higher end fishing tackle & some of the NGT tackle is OK for the money.

I used an old NGT bite alarm on an old extending net handle for a washing line prop...it stayed outside in all weather for the best part of a year. Still works fine. My daughter has the ngt 6ft rods and caught nearly 60 Carp in 24hrs all under 7lb but they got a good thrashing and they held up fine. I use the NGT landing net, handle and sling... for the price some of their products are well worth it.

NGT kit is great but let’s not forget a lot of it is a direct rip off / copy of other products created & designed by other companies.

Good review, glad to see you looking at NGT goods. I have some of their luggage and their original toastie and not had a problem with any of their stuff.

NGT gear is exceptional good value and cannot be faulted. All my luggage is NGT and it's excellent. I also have the Dynamic Barrow and XL Fortress bivvy (5000 HH), again excellent. I regularly use their 9ft carp/stalker rod and find it superb. Well done NGT. Tackle Tarts may disagree but hey, keep spending a fortune on the so called 'top flight' brands.

I love videos about NGT. They have some very good products, just have a second, read some reviews and you get what you want. I had another Toaster from NGT and RidgeMonkey but I love the one from RidgeMonkey. Best Toaster on the market. BUT: I also have a carryall and some more stuff and it's so good for the money. Good tackle doesn't have to be expensive. Just sometimes it is 😂

Very good honest review of a brand most people consider poor quality however this product is probably one thay will buy . I will despite having the ridge monkey range of cooking pans & cutlery /plates .

I’m not sure I own any NGT stuff, but I know people who do and have used theirs and I’m always surprised at how good it is - some stuff is half the price of brands like Fox, Gardner or Nash and all three of those brands put out really shoddy gear at times.

@@Uygkuyfkutfkytfkutfv I 100% agree I've none of the products from brands you mentioned after bad experiences myself and from fellow anglers . I have bought several of the NGT landing nets and stink bags and use them in every trip as snags and discarded rigs don't discriminate from ripping nets regardless of brand or cost

To be fair NGT to have some bits in their range that do a job.. if you live in the real world and need to be sensible in what you spend on your fishing kit they fit the bill

That's a fair assessment, it's not all roses in their range (some of it really is too cheap to be worth buying) but a lot of the stuff will do a more than reasonable job at a low price.
