Also Jamie…just a tip….after you scrub the tire with the brush follow up with a terry cloth or microfiber to remove the film the tire cleaner removed. Just a rinse will always leave some residue. Scrubbing with a brush, following up with a towel then drying the tire should give even better results. I always only do one pass on ANY tire. If I have anything left over a quick wipe with odorless mineral spirits will get it prepped for dressing

Honestly one of the best tire cleaners, which brought out browning even after using Brake Buster, which came out with white foam. Nice to have when prepping a new tire or wanting to redress a tire.

Seems similar to P&S undressed. Only this has a horrible sprayer lol. I’d just swap it out to a normal sprayer that foaming one doesn’t work good for anything. Nice demo!

I get the coverage issue, but this product works great and needs agitation to activate (or so it feels from my use). What I do on my Audi S4 tires is spray 3-4 sprays on the tire, spread it around with a detail brush, wait a couple minutes while I agitate Brake Buster on the wheel, then hit the tire with a tire brush. Works wonders on one pass as maintenance and saves product, if some friends tires need a second pass then I do it again with the same 3-4 sprays. A bugger tire like this I’ll use about 7 spray and still soread it around. Never tried it with a normal sprayer so I cannot vouch for that being better but sounds like a good idea

Nice review, Jamie! Looks like it cleaned great, but wouldn't be all that cost-effective considering how much you had to use - perhaps due mainly to that less than idea foaming trigger. So how would you compare it to Shine Supply Wise Guy on tires?

I'm one of those that think dressing on matts is not a good idea. Lipstick on a pig comes to mind. However, I'm not opposed to trying it if its worth doing on your personal vehicle. I don't like tire shine either. But we've been brain-beat over the years to think if the tires aren't shiny, they aren't clean.

Dressing is more than just adding shine as it conditions the material and most professional dressings only leave a matte finish but I definitely understand dressing mats and running boards can be a big no no with the wrong product 🤙🧼

@@JamieTheCleaner I'm a big supporter of using Meguires #39. Followed by Solution Finish on exterior plastics and trimwork. If two products work 100% of the time, its those two. I'm sure you've used #39. I've thought something was cleaned thoroughly, then got my feelings hurt after hitting it with #39. I often use it on troublesome mats because... it just works.

Checking in bro! Have you tried top star by KCx I use it all the time on Matt’s spray and wipe and they are never slippery. Definitely gotta give it a try.

Usually these dedicated tire cleaners want you to keep them full strength but when I get a gallon or so I have cut some 1-1 before and it worked just fine 🤙😶‍🌫️🧼

​@@EcdetailsI thought it would be pricey as well but decided to buy a liter of it in March. It's by far the best tire cleaner I've used so far. With neglected work truck tires that had never been cleaned in the three years they were on the truck it only took 2 applications of ReTyre. First application was just 4 trigger sprays total on quarter points of the tire and 2 on my tire brush. 2nd application was 3 sprays on the tire and 1 on the brush. The second application hardly had any browning of the foam at all. I've done 6 sets of truck tires, 1 set of work trailer tires and a few cars now with ReTyre and I've hardly touched the bottle. I've maybe used ~120ml of product so far. On vehicles with tires in decent shape I just use All Clean at 15:1. Gyeon Tire cleaner isn't too bad of a product but even after 3 applications I did one more with ReTyre and it stilled browned up. Just a super concentrated and fantastic rubber cleaner. I haven't looked through you channel or this one to see if there's other video's or updates on it bit just wanted to share my 2 cents worth. Maybe only worth ½ a cent though being a Canadian. Lol

It would be quite the process, a lot of tar remove, probably some liquor thinner and a scrapper

Ehh, I used BB neat to prep new tires, and then sprayed ReTyre afterwards and it pulled out a bunch of browning even though BB when sprayed and agitated came out with completely clean white foam lol
