I have a 2013 Pilot that I bought in 2022 with only 44 thousand miles on it. The biggest problem with these is the VCM. The VCM causes very poor engine performace, engine cylinder damage, and oil consumption. To disable the VCM I purched and installed what is called "The VCM DIPressor" and with that installed it runs VERY WELL now. Just search "VCM DIPressor" here on youtube or Google. It has dip switches on it and It took me literally on 10 minutes to install it..... Very very easy install. Don't let the dip switches scare you. I comes with simple instructions for what positions the DIP switches need to be in. With the VCM disabled I expect to get a minimum 250,000 miles out of it. Maybe more. If you don't disable the VCM you'll probably have a lot of engine problems and you will definitley experience a lot of engine vibration and poor performance.
