Hi Tim i connected phone to Unit phone to Helmet seems to work better but i noticed yours is fine maybe they fixed it in Firmware update ..anyway great product and very reasonable

Dose it give turn by turn navigation while CarPlay is on and music?? Mine dose music but no turn by turn audio

Yes depending on the app you are using and the sound settings. Waze with all sound on does - gives turn by turn and warnings.

Where to connect the wires? - it dont turn off on battery!

I ran from the battery and turn the screen on and off using the switch on the side.
