Enjoying mine immensely. Great amp. True point to point. Great build quality. A fine effort and tone machine. Thank you

Just purchased a Skylark a few days ago. I've played a lot of amps in my 40 years of playing. This is the best amp; Period. By itself or with pedals, the Skylark has the finest tones. Thanks Steve and your team of mad scientist...😁

I own a Mercury, and I am trying to figure out how I can afford one of these without selling my Mercury! These low watt amps with the built in attenuators are the most perfect piece of gear for anyone who plays mostly at home or in the studio. Keep up the great work Steve.

Best explanation of Presence I've ever heard. Love the tone of the amp. Could be time to trade in my Mercury.

I cant say enough about Carr, some of the nicest made most reliable amps you will ever purchase, tone for days! Thanks again Steve for making something that I have absolutely fallen in love with! I wouldn't trade my Mercury for the world!

Steve I'm torn I play small to med clubs with a drummer and bass the skylark is beautiful however would I be better off with the rambler? What are the man differences other than one has trem and 6v6 to 6l6. If I went with two speakers on the skylark would it help beef it up?

Can an audio taper pot be used on other Carr amplifiers reverb control so that the reverb doesn't wash out on 3?

Hey there Steve, just what I need...another member in my amp family. Can't find a bad review of it anywhere. I will buy a Skylark if you send that dope lamp with it. Please tell my wife where she can get one?

Hello Mr Mips I have been collecting mid century stuff for a long time! That lamp I think came from a long gone funky antique store in Indianapolis Indiana. Got it back in ~ 1990. They are pretty hard to find these days.... Good luck and I hope she finds you one!

Carr Amplifiers Really nice and alive sound in that room too! Believe it or not, I slowed down the audio track to hear the character of the echoes :D

Greg I agree these are expensive, but I own a Carr Mercury and I cant say enough about this amp I also own a Fender VibroKing and a Dr.Z Maz 18 Reverb. I can honestly say if I had to loose them all in a house fire Id chance it to grab my Carr and my 76 Tele! Amazing tone in these amps!

Greg Clark They are expensive as far as amplifiers go, for sure. Certainly in terms of the raw materials required to make one. However, if you watch the factory tour and see the amount of labour and attention to detail that goes into them, then the price seems quite fair to me.
