Donal, that was pretty wet and wan't it great as it got you the rainbow, the dodgy river crossing and all those glorious waterfalls in full flow :-) Not sure about your drinking technique though ;-) A cool record of your climb :-)

Quite a wet day Gerry, but an experience to say the least. My only negative was the cloud lifted whilst descending the Zig Zags, and we could have had those glorious views from the summit a little bit later. It was my first time up there, but not my last. It was something special to stand on top of Ireland! As for the drinking technique... we had plenty of water, we just wanted to drink a little bit from the mountain... it seemed so giving :)

Thanks! A hike I will never forget. My first time there. It certainly is an amazing place, and an incredible feeling as you enter Hag's Glen. A very imposing mountain!
