I recommend fitting mjk tyres for Fly group 5 Capri (4228) on the nascar range when running sans magnets on wood. I got one of each analogue car and all were near unusable without them. On a plus we ran them on Bathurst weekend and they were great! The bodies are barely marked after many hours of close enthusiastic racing and the best lap times were within 1/10 of each other which works out at 1.6% variation across the field. They’re a toy spec car for sure, and toys are by definition fun! Chris.

Looking forward to your thoughts on the 2.0 wireless controllers. I just got into the hobby so I don't have experience with the original wireless controllers. I was so excited to get my 2.0 set and then was so disappointed when I started using them. One of them had a very "sticky" plunger that would not spring back immediately or just get stuck in the down position all together. Added a little oil and that seemed to help. But my main complaint was the noticeable delay between pressing the plunger and the car accelerating. I thought maybe I was crazy at first, but after using them for several hours and comparing them to the wired controllers, the delay was definitely there. Made the user experience very unenjoyable. I just went back to my wired controllers.

So what's the best track to get these days? Ido have a ninco 4 lane track which is still NIB and I have loads of the digital switch overs but I Ninco stopped making track a while ago.

The big two would be carrera or scalextric Of course you have scx, scaleauto and policar I use carrera as the size fits my needs
