Seeing her crying and telling her mama to hold her - Oh Jesus... Margaret didn't deserved the daughter she had 😭💔
@user-ro6qp9ih6t
@user-ro6qp9ih6t 5 ай бұрын
No mother or father or any family member can't do that to their family member. Even if it's a whooping. A simple punch or kick or slap. They should not put a knife to their child like Margaret did. Purely plain sick and psychopathic for Margaret to do it. She got hers coming right after she stabbed Carrie. Even if Carrie didn't murder anyone at the prom or if she and her prom date went all the way that night. Margaret likely would've done something bad to Carrie. But stabbing your own daughter like that. It's just plain stupid. If you hated your daughter with a passion like that. You should've not deserved her. Instead choosing to use violence. Then 1 minute later. It backfired on you did it?. Carrie should've lived a normal life if her mother hadn't harmed her and let her live her life the way she should've. The ending should've been like this. Carrie still wounded collapses. Has her life saved. Moves to a different school and maybe live on her own. But still has to be questioned by authorities on her telekinetic powers. I feel like there should've been another sequel to this with her still alive

@@user-ro6qp9ih6t This which I also believe - even if the dropping bucket hadn't happened, she still could be in danger if she returned home. This why I would rather to imagine that after she won the contest, she hadn't never returned home but stayed with Miss Collins instead.

If I am honest I think that music is appropriate for the moment that make the ending of the film the same as in the book. Because when Carrie dies in that version it is more sad than this because of the way she was treated in her life

I’m glad that Miss Collins the girls gym teacher really cared about Carrie White and made the girls who were cruel to her* Miss Collins original idea was 3 days suspension and denial of their prom tickets or 1 week after school detention* It’s was going to be Miss Collins detention!

That Carrie theme music by Pino Donaggio, with the lovely flute ... it makes this movie so tragic and emotional. And in the final image here we have Mama the pin-cushion in the same pose as the statue in the closet. Piper Laurie, rest her soul, was so phenomenal ... and when Margaret is dying you'd think she was experiencing immense bliss, based on the noises and expressions she made. Really creepy. This woman is such an iconic horror character.

I love how this entire movie pays tribute to another classic horror film, “ P S Y C H O “, with the knives, the screeching violins, an evil and demanding “mother”, and also, The Bates High School (possibly named after Norman).

From this point 3:52 it sounds like Margret is enjoying having all those knives in her. Like feeling anything strong, even if painful, is doing something to fill a void caused by self inflicted sexual frustration.

Oui. I thought that too. Actually Piper said she approached the entire thing like a comedy. She thought it was a comedy! Honestly she said that! And then somewhere during filming she realized it's not a comedy. But she never reshot any scenes differently

0:40 I should have killed myself when he put it in me. 😔 After the first time, before we were married. Ralph promised never again. He promised, and I believed him. 🙁 *But Sin Never Dies.* *Sin Never Dies.* ☹️ At first, it was all right. We lived sinlessly. We slept in the same bed, but we never did it. 🙁 And then, that night, I saw him looking down at me that way. 😦 We got down on our knees to pray for strength. I smelled the whisky on his breath. And he took me...He took me. 😦 With the stink of the filthy roadhouse whisky on his breath. And I liked it. 😀 I LIKED it! 😆 Well, all that dirty touching in his hands and coming all over me...😄 I should have given you to God when you were born. But I was weak and backsliding. ☹️ But now, the Devil has come home. 😧 Oh! We’ll pray…☹️

The way Carrie begged her mom to hold her💔 It’s sad because Margaret was r4p3d by Carrie’s dad and she takes her anger out on Carrie because of it. Margaret was so mad because she was SA’d yet she says she loves it…Margaret turned to religion and that’s why she was so harsh towards Carrie. My heart hurts for her but her trauma doesn’t justify on the way she abuses Carrie.😞🙁

For Margaret, she would stay on professional's cares and Carrie living with Miss Collins, because once the teacher had treated her way better than Margaret, she could be her adoptive mother.

Genesis 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. 2 Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. What happened to Margaret White in this movie, brought what is written in the King James Version of the Holy Bible here in 2 Peter 2:20 to remembrance. I knew a long time ago that she was a false teacher and she died with the same horrible end mentioned in this. What she suffered will be the same punishment that all of the religious lost people who are professing Christians who are not born again.
