Many people don't know that she's bipolar and yet she looks like the picture of health and continues to function and be amazing and prolific. Her career and her life is an inspiration to people who struggle with mental health. That's why I think it's inappropriate and hurtful to read things like "there's something odd about her". This woman is a survivor. What's odd about her is that she's brutally honest and not fake like most celebrities you've been used to dealing with. That's because someone who struggles with depression doesn't have the time or the energy to be fake! Appreciate her as a full human being!

I never met Carrie Fisher, but she played a huge part in creating the man I am today. In SW A New Hope, she was my first crush.The beautiful and feisty princess made my young heart go pitter patter. In Empire Strikes Back, I learned girls like the bad boys and strived to be Han Solo like to win their affections.
