While Carrie performs "Garden" her crew is taking down the trapeze and then they attach that sphere to the pulley system that carries the sphere back to the main stage. People say her crew doesn't get to watch Carrie perform. Her crew knows that when they hired. Their job is to make sure Carrie doesn't have to worry about anything except to perform at her best.

Now, I finally figured out what those wings are for this performance. Weight balance to help counter the weight of that sphere that transports Carrie back to main stage. Which is why that is sphere is bouncing while Carrie is on it.

@@ABIAviation Yes, I know. But a sneaky way of counter balancing that sphere. Carrie explained that, when she gave preview of it. She knew fans where going to wonder about it.

Yes, Carrie is perfectly safe up there. Those wires attached to the sphere handle heavy loads than the combined weight of the sphere and Carrie together. And if you notice Carrie doesn't switch the mic from one hand to the other. Her other hand is holding that black safety harness. Safety harness is attached to the top of the sphere. Carrie gave a quick view of getting on that sphere and the guy helping Carrie reminded her don't let go of the harness.

Arenas are able to handle a lot heavier things than that trapeze and those wings and sphere.
