I am an EMT student in AZ.... currently battling symptoms of Covid while I quarentine and await my test results. This song has always had a powerful message... but today it is a little different for me. I am not afraid to die. I am afraid of leaving my grandfather with no caretaker... or my 4 rescued dogs with no home.... or worse... that my dogs will go back to feeling unloved again. I left my job to become an EMT student so I could help. In the midst of all that is happening... I wanted to be able to stand on the side of love and light... and fight for love. Love can involve being kind to each other despite your differences, and helping each other with minor things (e.g. helping carry groceries), but sometimes it can be very difficult to love. Theresa Daniels I was on the set and am in this video, sweetie. We filmed outdoors at the Fontanel here in Tennessee. Carrie was stationed on a huge platform in a field that was about 10-15 feet tall with huge fans on the ground pointing up, several folks making sure the dress stayed flowing, and several cameras on the ground pointing upwards and a huge crane camera to get those beautiful closeup shots. We watched her film those scenes for a few hours as they wanted to make sure it was perfect. 👍🏽

My God loves all; I don't know where all those homo/transphobes think Jesus said to hurt others in His name. Jesus always stood with the outcasts, the marginalized, those who had nothing but each other. And it baffles them when someone like myself, a trans man, is also a United Christian. I just tell em': I grew up in the Catholic Church, taught to hate myself for all my sinning for simply being who I am. But now, at my new United Church, I see everything in a completely new way; Being LGBTQ+ in not a sin, homophobia and transphobia is the sin.
