A strong father who has been an active part of his daughter's life, especially as a child, is key to our backbone. If men stayed and were real fathers - selfless, daughters wouldn't seek out bums to have babies with to build the life they didn't have; that's the cycle that's broken.

We played this song at my Papa’s funeral. Last verse was relevant. He never had kids of his own but he married my Grandma & helped raise her 8, & me, my brother, & sister && adopted my sister’s first child, a boy to carry on his name. He loved us all like we were his blood. My Grandma always said god broke the mold after he made Papa. Also listen to He walked on water by Randy Travis.

This song never fails to make me cry. I love the stories. The foster boy in the first one. then the mother in the second one, desperately trying to keep her daughter out of foster care. Then the old man on his deathbed driving home the message that we are all living in a Temporary Home. Carrie is as beautiful on the inside as she is the outside. Try Carries song Jesus Take The Wheel.

This song makes me cry every single time I hear it. Mark Wills- “Don’t laugh at me” also gets me every time. Especially in this day and age when bullying is at an all time high. It’s so important to teach our children to not “get your pleasure from my pain”. Especially as a mother of a disabled child. It really hits home with all of the cruel and hurtful things that are said and done to my little girl.

Just found your channel but I love the fact that you are able to show emotion. Most men think they have to be straight faced all the time and that's just not the case. There are certain circumstances where we have to be strong and hold back emotions when someone is looking at us for leadership but it shouldn't be all the time! I too sometimes fall into this way of thinking so thank you for reminding me that it is ok to show emotion when something moves you!

It's a song that everyone can and will relate to during the climax part. The first time i heard that song on radio was back in 2010, when i was doing some cleaning in the living room right after watching Spongebob Squarepants episode on TV (Happy mode baby 😆 i was 22 at that time but still loving me some kids shows lol) and i was legit teared up upon listening to the first verse. What a beautiful melody with heartfelt lyric and then the climax came in i was like down to the floor and burst in tears like a baby girl thinking of my deceased grandparents. My grandpa said something similar to "i can see God's face" when he looked up a few days before his passing. I know there are lots of emotional songs out there and some other who are much sadder than Temporary Home for instance Carrie's new song The Bullet off Cry Pretty album talking about gun violence's effects to the deceased soldiers' families but Temporary Home has since and still that exact song which can always like LEGIT VERY MOST OF THE TIME got me emotional and super emotional (it's a song that is best to be avoided from listening on your birthdays, graduation days, the day you got ur first pay or during your holidays cuz you don't wanna get ur moods ruined and be all wrecked up in an emotional ride 😆)

Start a GoFundMe for your siblings-id donate. If you weren't given custody bc you "couldnt afford to house and feed them", the money you could raise could help them so much whether it's because they can finally be allowed to live with you, or at the very least, buy them all the things they need-im not saying their foster parents are bad, I just know that exact feeling of not having a home bc my mother was struggling hard after her divorce and for years we bounced from couch to couch, guest room to guest room, even a blowup mattress a few times. Since it's not your home, you feel like you're walking on eggshells so you don't be 9me a nuisance. Foster kids have it worse ofc but I have a feeling you'll be getting them back home with you soon. Your love for them pours out through the screen, and love will help you through all this. Good luck my man.

Your video popped up in a recommendation to watch and I'm glad I clicked on it. Your reaction is so genuine that one can't help but to feeling emotions with you I guess one would say. I haven't personally been in them situations the last one I didn't make it to the hospice home in time for my mama passed I missed it by two minutes. But before she passed so almost two weeks before she said to me I'm going to get out of this bed and I'm walk outside when I do I'm going home about coming home with me or my husband and it hurt because one day me and my husband went in there to see her and here I am 8 months pregnant and she's like Sissy which is what she called me she's like I got to feel the sun on my face and hear the birds is beautiful I got to get out of bed and go outside. And I know she didn't get out of bed because she was bed bound so I knew it was coming I went to the bathroom and lay there and cried for a while cuz my mom was getting ready to go home. This song is so hard to listen to because every time I do I cry I think I'm a mom and now me and my husband think of our little boy that's past almost 2 years ago. So you're reaction and your emotions are so genuine and it's refreshing thank you for that. I would definitely be looking towards more of your videos. God bless be safe.
