Hello Carrie! Thank you for another great Fiverr video. I wish I was good in front of the camera and record videos for designing gigs. I really want to upload but I don't think it will add in my favor because me being camera shy which will make me look less confident and dull. Maybe as a photographer, I am just good at making videos from behind it. Still get to learn from your videos every day! 🙂

Hi! Do you have one fixed Intro video, or does each gig have it's own video? I'm brand new to Fiverr and am currently researching all sorts of things about it, and I haven't yet figured out if people use the same intro video for all of their gigs, or if they have a customized video for each gig.
@carrieblogger3 жыл бұрын
Every gig video is unique! Definitely don’t repeat the same ones over and over - you’ll confuse buyers and lose an opportunity to pitch in a meaningful way. ☺️ I offer one-on-one consulting if you’re interested! bit.ly/carriebloggerconsult

It was a helpful video, Carrie. Your gig videos look amazing and you made them perfectly. I'm just gonna record videos for fiverr gigs but I'm pretty confused about video pixels and stuffs. Can you please help taking some time and sharing with me what aspect ratio and size did you maintain while recording and uploading your gig videos on fiverr ?? Should I keep them 720x1280 or would I make them 1080x1920 and which aspect ratio should I maintain? Is it 16:9 or something else?? Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much for your videos. I subscribed and have been blitzing through as many of your videos as I can find time for, because they're extremely helpful! I had a general question about starting on fiver (in copywriting). Given that, as you touched on in one of your videos, it's vital to get everything right, especially as you start out - and to avoid getting bad reviews, etc - I'm almost paranoid about actually setting up and activating my account and gigs! Part of me feels I should research absolutely everything about the platform, to exhaustion, before even taking the first steps. But I also need to get started soon. Would you have any advice, tips, general guidance, on any balance to be struck here, and to what extent the platform itself will guide me in each aspect of my work as I start out? Perhaps you've already made a video specifically answering this, in which case feel free to just drop me the link! And thank you again for your super-helpful content.
@carrieblogger3 жыл бұрын
I’m not an analysis paralysis kind of person, so I recommend jumping in when you feel ready based on the SKILLS that you have, not necessarily total CONTROL over the platform or selling environment - you’ll never have that. You do need to ‘get everything right’ - absolutely, and every encounter has to be 5-star experience, but a thoughtful, professional, and proactive customer management style can solve 85% of problems. That’s what it comes down to and you’ll perfect with time.

@@carrieblogger You are a total legend, for a) such superbly useful content, b) replying to comments/questions, c) doing so so quickly, and d) so helpfully. I am definitely enthused and informed enough to launch on fiverr this week, thanks to... er, you. There are other channels out there on KZbin advising on fiverr but you're the best I've found. Why do you not have some more zeros on the end of your number of subscribers? I wish I could add a couple for my own subscription. Unfortunately mine, like all of them, comes in at a simple "1". Please keep at it and let's see lots and lots more 1s keep adding to the list until they make many zeros. Thank you!

Hi Carrie! I have a question regarding getting reviews from clients. Do you think asking for reviews is appropriate or not? I've read in the forums that asking reviews can potentially violate the TOS? Anyway, Congrats on the 1k subs! :)
@carrieblogger4 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely - you can (and should) reach out to clients at the end of the order to make sure that they're satisfied and also ask that they leave a review. Of course, you can't specifically ask for a positive review or try to skirt the automated flagging system. Check out this video, if you haven't seen it yet -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaaZhKCBrNF0pdk&t

@@carriebloggerCarrie have you noticed a slow turn in your Fiverr business. Things appeared to have gone dead at my end. No, things have still been incredibly smooth for me. I actually implemented a queue and I was asking clients to wait to place their orders until a certain day so that I could keep a manageable limit.
