I do crochet since I was 7 and now I am 30. This is the first time I will attempt to do a sweater, because I always thought this was beyond my capability. And I will try it, because your tutorial is just perfect. The sweater looks gender neutral and I can do it my own size. Thank you so much. You are amazing and talented beyond words. I already subscribed and I will keep on watching. Greetings!

My great grandmother taught me to crochet lace when I was only 4, and even gave me one of her own steel crochet hooks. I am now 57, and have a not for profit private charity, crocheting shawls for women and girls who are dealing with illness, or loss. Since losing my mom in 2012, I have crocheted & given out over 250 shawls, including 2 dozen that went to a mission hospital in Haiti in 2018, and the American flag shawl for Melania Trump. I don’t charge, and purchase the yarn myself, mostly Bernat Mandala cakes. Just wanted to share that with you. Keep hooking!

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just finished making my sweater and it turned out great! It's snowing right now and this will definitely keep me warm. Love the faux cables and clear instructions! Great job on the video! Because I want to wear it with leggings, and I'm not young lol, I made it longer. I have a belly but skinny arms so I made a large sized sweater but made the small sized sleeves and just added some extra rows. Turns out I didn't need those extra rows but that's okay I just roll up the sleeves. I did five rows of FPDCs/BPDCs on the sleeves and it makes a nice cuff. This will be great for layering on very cold days. I look forward to checking out more from your channel!

There are several ways to make the braided look also called jacob's ladder but this is definitely the best way to make them and not guess on the finished size of your work. It really sucks when you do all the work when using another method and your sizing is off. For future project suggestion, this really is awesome and would like to add to this braided look.
