today we're going inside the fitting room at ASOS (at their in-person store)! This LA store is, from what I understand, 1 of only 2 ASOS stores in the US. Since you've seen me try on a bunch of ASOS curve clothes in try-on hauls in the past, I thought we'd do a fitting room try-on to see what their STORE offers for a US size 16, UK size 18 midsize plus size body! I live in the UK and shop on ASOS often, the thing about ASOS is they sell a lot of different brands, so I think that’s why it can be hit or miss. Even though it seems in this store they only care ASOS Design items.

So to my knowledge, the ASOS website compiles like 100+ online brands/etc and sells them on their sites/in stores. So that may be why sizing is very different. I always read the reviews before I purchase online to prevent these discrepancies. I learned after my first order😂

I’m glad you did this video! It just goes to show you your body is not the problem, it’s the clothes! That’s why it’s so important to find clothes that fit right, which is a lot harder for mid/plus size people.

I’ve ordered from the petite section, I’m 4’11” and have always had a slim figure. A few of the items that were my size, but fit sooo differently. But happy i found the perfect mom jeans out of the 4 things I ordered!

For a brand that is almost solely online I sure wish they’d have consistent sizing! They are one of a few that has a decent tall section but I’m always nervous to order from there!

As a mom on a tight budget, I actually enjoy shopping at Walmart. Yes, I know you're not a Mama, but I was wondering if you ever tried a budget friendly store (besides thrift stores)? I find that stores like Walmart tend to have more styles that fit curves and has a happy balance of comfort/trend.

ASOS can be amazing they are a little inconsistent with sizing even for those of us that are smaller. The jumpsuit if it had been a tall fitting I think it could have been cute on

I noticed some of the clothes weren't exclusively asos design! The jeans were topshop which are VERY expensive imo! May have been why there was so much variation also ♥️

Surprisingly I went from someone who hates buttons to someone who loves those button jeans like the ones you tried on because they fit me better then the zipped jeans. The trick is to only unbutton 2-3 buttons. I've never has to unbutton all of them before and only unbuttononing 2-3 has never failed me. It makes it a lot easier and less time consuming.

Oh man, those clothes are hideous aside from the sizing issue, The quality and style is just bad bad bad. Comparing these items to the type of pieces you find in your videos when you go thrifting or to the LA flea markets is just night and day.

For me ASOS can be hit or miss, but they do have cute clothes. Love your in-store fitting room videos. Could you do a video on tailored pants from different stores and see the quality versus price is there really a difference? Or also cargo pants, so popular right now but such a variety.

Just wanted to let you know that the difference between UK and US sizing is 1-2 sizes. So if you are a US 16 you will be a UK 18 and also a UK Large is like US Medium. So most likely size 20 or XXL would work for you when shopping UK or Australian based brands. I only know this because I am Australian and an avid ASOS shopper, I typically wear an AU size 14 which is US 10 and ASOS Large is about the right fit.

definitely think asos has european sizing. generally much more restrictive and small than american equivalents. germany and uk are the exceptions.

She actually tried to do that back in November, she reached out and they told her they specifically carried extended sizes in their LA store but when she went, they said they only have extended sizes online 🙄 she has a video about it on her vlog channel!

ASOS sells various brands. You tried brands like Noisy May etc. Yes they do have their own label but they sell TONS of other brands too. So it's normal that the sizing may very. I don't think this video is quite fair to them and the people who want to shop in store or even online as you keep refering to the clothes as if they were all made by ASOS. I adore the content but I thought I should point this out.

Why did the Asos Naked bodysuit say "Nordstrom" on it? Weird I liked the last black dress with the chains, but I think it needed to "hike up" a little to lift the girls a bit (shorten the chains?) .... it seemed to squish them a bit and push them downwards ... dress fault, not yours.

I'm only 5'4.5 (almost 5'5) and ASOS dresses and skirts run SHORT. It's so damn annoying. I also have a bigger butt so I really can't wear their dresses or skirts due to the length.
