Oh my goodness That yummy *chai* (tea) *served in a polystyrene cup* What the heck! *Those Three tea makers* might have o.kish hair And *know about* a _pixie cut_ or _a bun_ hairstyle.. What a load of b*ll*cks Carrie lol! 🤣 You're such a brave woman trying that as I'd never give trying that a second thought, but you did at least get me to try calamari last year! It's a shame that plastic / polystyrene usage is so high in South Asia when they have ceramic & terracotta cups widely available; the tea even tastes better in them. I have witnessed at Bangladesh tea stalls where they were served in a cup & saucer, customers would pour the tea onto the saucer so it'd cool faster & slurp it from there, so no one would have batted an eye lid if you'd done the same! The man at 0:22 is clearly embarrassed at the question. I really wonder how the food vloggers protect their stomach after eating so much street food. Or there are any certain things that the vloggers avoid such as sauces that are not cooked with the food. I am a local with a sensitive stomach so avoid all the sides which are uncooked but foreigners trying out street food without a care in the world blows me away.

So streetfood for me requires thought.. like you I don’t eat salad sides, I don’t drink water unless it’s from a bottle. As for things like this, with meat, it’s about finding somewhere where you can see them cook it so you can assess whether you think the food is fresh, utensils clean etc.. we picked this place because it looked very good. If I am in the middle of nowhere and I need to eat and there is no choice I generally pick things that have been nuked in hot oil and go vegetarian. Ultimately if you choose a good vendor, streetfood can often be a great choice because it’s cooked fresh.. you can’t see what happens in a hotel kitchen 😉.. as for the question.. it had to be asked.
