its “before” what raises “after” price even more

this depends on the contractor's pricing decisions, it doesn't have to. pricing info you provide means little if we don't know if you're talking at cost or after markup. much of hvac industry seems to be scammy, hiding equipment portion of the cost and gouging with crazy markups on top of crazy labor rates.. @@airbluehvac

Is the AC Pro made in the USA? I heard they are made in Mexico? The fan motor looks larger/thicker than AC pro.

ac pro is distributor! they sell many different units. some from china. some from Mexico and USA units as well. check our other videos on USA true variable systems from Allied.

bigger, doesn't mean better, when it comes to motors. it's the material of it's winding, that matters. copper is certainly better than aluminum winding and there are different grades in copper too.

in florida its 4500 for both AHU and CU for a 3 ton. Varies by tonnage varies by region

500 sq ft per ton is non-sense, results in gross oversizing. time to start doing load calculations.
