Awesome AC, Outdoor fan is very strong , hybrid jet technology is innovative. cooling is so good ( 22c at Lg window = 24c at carrier split ) . Service is ok , (Hitachi , Daikin, O general and Carrier ) all use same service center for servicing . Build quality is ok . Electricity consumption is 3 unit for 8 hrs @ 24c for 120 sqft . Remote is bad , makes sound every time you make change in current setting . No lcd panel on IDU and No mercury in remote ( hard to find remote in night and no wall stand ) .Only vertical swing in 3 star Ac , Manually adjustable horizontal swing Blade, can not see current room temp . 1+4 extended warranty is only when you get 2 servicing yearly from carrier ( 699 + GST ) . If looking for cooling than certainly consider it .

Carrier has speciliasation in A C. Like Samsung and LG Carrier does not make TV Fridge Washing Machine. They have focus only on A C segment. I purchased 5* Split AC in 2013. 7 years passed, no issue till date. A brief comparision of main brand in AC: O General - Best, one can buy with closd Eye, Naam Hi Kaafi Hai. But cousme excess power. Blur Star - Good Performance. But mean for Govt. offices. Mostly preferred for central Air conditioning not for room air conditioning. Carrier - Best with low power consumption. Daikain - Japanese Company, new in market, Voltas- Indian Company. Max market share in India. So my reccomendation. If low on budget go for Voltas. If looking for cooling go to CArrier If budget is not a issue go for O GENERAL. No AC stand before O GENERAL.

Voltage in my area is usually 208 to 218 V. I have a 2 ton inverter AC with voltage range 200 - 150 V as per manual. Will adding a good voltage stabiliser help in reducing power consumption?

Inverter AC per kabhi bhi Sablizer mat lagana, PCB Kharab ho jati hai. Panasonic wale Warranty nhi dete agar Stablizer laga ho.

I had the worst experience with carrier ac. Every year gas leaks from the u shaped side coils nd every repair guy says to use it for current season and throw away after.....at leat 5-6 times welding repairs have been done since my purchase in 2018

Sir what about MIDEA that is a subsidiary of Career, i am using it since 2 years 1 ton in an area of 150sq ft and it is working perfectly never went below 24 degrees, i reside in Lucknow
