What is the side of that bolt you use to pray out that part of the clutch

Great video! My unit carrier unit just started making a loud vibration noise coming from this exact area (fan clutch) and the fan itself seems loose/has play. Would this need to be replaced or is the play in the fan normal? Btw It does not always make the loud vibration sounds. Any response would be greatly appreciated!

When using the 5/8” bolt to extract the armature, what did you do to keep it from spinning ? I’m having that issue . Thanks in advance

Hey brother, that key you’re talking about, does that come new in the package. Sales man at carrier showed be a piece of metal that looked like a small toothpick. Is that the key ?

Wait I remember he showed it to me on the actual new shaft package, correct?

yes it’s on the shaft package but does not come with the hub kit so do not lose it

Brother, sorry to bother. I’m on the clutch coil already. I don’t see any shims behind it, I am having a hard time taking it off and that’s where I see a shim like metal shaving making if hard to spin off. Is it possible that it doesn’t have any shims ?
