I remember this all too well. Just a millennial kid messing around in the kitchen annoying mum who was busy cooking saltfish ackee. I still remember the tiny little TV we had in the main lounge. 8 buttons for the channels, no remote, the little dials to adjust the colour, and our dodgy little aerial plugged into the back and can only pick up 4 channels. She had Carroll Thompson on loop those days.
