Hi Emm Kay, all the tournaments in Asia are played with boric acid powder whereas we play with a very thin pottatoe powder in europe. I can't tell you the exact brand of that powder, sorry. you can ask to Asian federations to get the precise informtation. bye !

HI, no it's not unfair, playing a single defense is not as easy as it seems to be. It can be also a very tactical shot that sometimes can change a board and game when played with full of control. I'm playing more and more this kind of shots at crucial moments.

I am of the opinion that a rule should such be made that if a player plays opponent's coin without touching any of his coin, then it would be a foul and a due should be placed. If a player is supposed to play his coins. If he is hitting opponent's coins, it only means that he is losing. So, it should be foul if you are hitting other's coin without touching your coin. It is unethical and immoral.

Every sport has its strategy. There is no unfair practice if somebody resorts to defense which is also very tactical and professional.

Hi I just watch your videos... kindly suggest what carrom powder I should use... as I see boric powder are good for the board but u need more power to hit... and a there is a powder which looks like boric acid but is really fast and playing in that I feel it's difficult to control.

Hi, that faster one is the potatoe starch powder we use in Europe. It's a very thin one called anti-macculate powder, used in the print industry.
