your style of play here is very simple , U should change to south african style which is more skilful as u have to qualify to play a colour . u start by potting in d queen first & must b followed by a colour & if u fail to pot a colour u have to fill queen &colour again till u suceed then u must fill in all your colour beads then fill d queen LAST to win d game. u r not allowed to play any snookered beads which r behind d striker line. these snookered beads can only b potted by a back shot. u can snooker opposition beads by pushing it behind his striker line so he must play it by a backshot only. if your striker goes into d pocket u have to take out 1 of your colour & place it in d ring as a penalty. if u fill in d queen unintentionally whilst u still have colour beads to fill u r penalised by taking out 5 of your colour beads & which r placed in d ring for u to pot again ,u can snooker your opposition bead as often as u like or even d queen to make d game more difficult for d opposition to win. u can play say best of 5 games & d more games one win of the 5 he is d overall winner .id luv to challenge your best player in this format of d game then he must say he has talent or skill in this game. reply to me if u r interested in a workshop of this style of play to get more familiar with this style then we can have a challenge to say best of 11 games to really see who is d better player in this skilful format. reply to me if u r very keen to change & to set up a challenge. It's the powder they use. It's potato starch, more skiddy then our boric acid powder. Apart from India, Srilanka most of the other countries use potato starch, especially countries whether is mostly cold.

you are actually right. carrom is one game where the pros look just the same as lay people playing it. These guys missed many simple shots, cuts and so on. They played well overall but better players exist, no doubt about that.
