Hi All,
First of all, I thank you so much for visiting my channel. Please do click the Subscribe button if you like the content. In this video we are making a Carrot wine which is having a vibrant orange color and a very nice taste.
Carrot wine has a lot of health benefits and is very good to have it in a small quantity. This special wine is made within 10 days and it doesn't compromise on the taste and effect.
The video is in malayalam. Listing the ingredients and also the steps for making it below. Do try and wish you all happy cooking👩🍳♥️🙌.
Ingredients

Carrot 4 big (500-600gm)
Sugar 400gm
Cinnamon sticks 2
Cardamom 7
Cloves 6
Wheat or broken wheat 1.5 tablespoon
Pineapple 4-5 cubes alternately you can add juice of 2-3 lemon
Instant yeast 1/2 teaspoon
Boiled and cooled water 750ml
## for caramelizing(optionallydoing for getting nice color)
Sugar 1/4 cup
Boiling water 1 cup/250 ml
Method
------------
1.Wash and peel the carrots, wash again and pat dry then using tissue paper. Then grate the 4 carrots. Try to use good quality carrots when choosing it for a wine.
2. Take a dry and clean glass jar( I used a 2 litre jar), and layer the carrots and sugar.
3. Take the whole masala and crush them using a mortar and pestle and add it to the carrot sugar mix.
4. Add 1.5 tablespoon wheat/broken wheat.
5. Add chopped pineapple(sour), alternately you may add juice of 2 or 3 lemon.
6. Add yeast, I used instant yeast , you may use active dry yeast also.
7. Mix everything well and add about 750ml ie 3/4 litre of boiled and cooled water.
8. The mixing should be done using a dry wooden spoon.
9. Fill the bottle to 3/4 th only, choose it accordingly.
10. Don't use an airtight lid for the wine jar. If possible cover it with a clean cloth and close lightly.
11. Keep it in dark place, and stir using a wooden ladle on everyday or on alternate days.
11. On the 10th day caramelize some sugar, ie to a heavy bottomed pan add the sugar and melt it on low flame, when it turn to a honey color add 1 cup of boiling water and make it boil again for 2 minutes and let it cool.
12. When its completely cool add it to the wine mixture and stir well.
13. Use a cloth or strainer to strain the wine.
14. I kept the wine back in the same jar. Leave it atleast 1 day to get it settle and transfer it to bottles.
15. You can keep them in room temperature.
