You’re one of the herd now, Brian. Just a brother from a human mother.

This was a fun interaction with the carrots. Now I wonder what the cowies will do if you feed them apples?

kzbin.infoFsPVtfBBAXY?si=sdmYvlWAFb3TZxdp They'll be very happy to have an apple any time now... They aren't used to taking it from a hand but its a very easy transition once they've acquired the taste for them.

Love how they try to hold the carrot in their mouth.

I took a load of carrot out this evening. Couldnt see the red herd and only 1 of the other herd came over so he got most of the carrot I got him relaxed enough to let me scratch him all over though. Got about 12 total who all take carrot from the hand and 1 other who will only take it off the ground. A few others who will eat bread from hand. Last year I was trying to feed 1 steer who kept looking at the carrot and then looked at the ground in front of him and then almost gestured with his head. I swear he was telling me to drop it on the ground for him so I did and he ate it. Tried offering by hand again and he did the same head gesture so he just ended up dropping them for him.
