Definitely a song for all the black sheep of the family and old souls liberation is self realisation letting go of the illusions of mind and society simply drop everything and be as you are let go of personal identity ego persona know thy true state of being this is peace this is liberation peace is not external its inward stop giving attention to society to thoughts it's a very simple thing ,obviously you can still do all tasks that need to be done but remain in self in the ever present timeless now life becomes more harmonious when stillness emptiness is known ,namaste ❤️ let there be peace let there be love for all life universal ❤️ om 🕉 shanti shanti shanti if you want to know your true nature look up Sri ramana maharshi, Sri nisagadatta maharaj, on you tube totally free no techniques no imagination no spiritual gymnastics just be they only point to the absolute

Loving abroad from the UK for 8 years now. Memories are so mixed. The feelings of positive and negative are so extreme. It’s quite tricky to summarise, it’s not nationalism but there is so much to miss, and so much to get away from. Back in the day, must be 10 years ago, I watched a band play this live on a spring afternoon in Bath’s cobbled streets, having a beer and soaking up the atmosphere. It’s shit like this we miss, memories buried but not forgotten.

I understand this entirely. When you leave England for any significant amount of time (I lived in India for five years) you get an entirely different perspective. I was homesick as hell while living in a tropical paradise! You wake up quickly when abroad though as you are not bombarded with BBC or TV in general. I still don't own a TV to this day x
@daftirishmarej18274 жыл бұрын
So true. I've been in Italy for 8 years. Never think it's all pizza and ice cream (although both are delicious!). Again, I couldn't be less nationalistic. There's something about the Levellers that is, essentially, British. Oh England My Home...

the record is slightly pitch shifted, probably because the band wanted to change the tempo slightly post recording, so that is why you can't find a pitch centre by trying to play with the recording. The piece is composed in A minor if that helps.
