I'm a fan. I also work in Canvas. Have you tried using a piping foot or even a rolled hem foot? I get tired of folding edging over and curling it while sewing it on a piece. I realize that you have the skill to not use those feet, but have you tried?

Hi! Thanks for the suggestions! Yes, I've tried both and I have those tools. I love them and they make hemming easier, indeed. The reason why I don't use them in my beginner tutorials is because I want to show that there is a way around without having additional tools (many beginner sewers have just the machine). It is a good idea to make a tutorial on HOW TO MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER with the tools :)
