I loved it too bc I’m a huge Jason Bateman fan…he can do no wrong in my book…also the story was interesting and the pace was on-point But you know how you have to suspend belief when watching any movie…I’m always ok with that, but I am personally offended with Jason’s character being described by the cop as a white male in his 50’s!! He looks like he’s in his 40’s, late 30’s with the right lighting…(I do know his true age btw) So for all the crazy sh*t that took place, THIS is what bothered me the most, and made me pause the movie to complain to my family 😂

I loved the movie. I used to be a TSO (Transportation Security Officer) for TSA (Transportation Security Administration). Egerton acted exactly as a TSO. He actually reminded me of one that I used to work with. Some of the film's comments were so true and spot on. It made me wonder if the screenplay writer had worked for the TSA. In federal law enforcement, the TSOs are considered the lowest (or, they used to be when I worked for the TSA) of all federal law enforcement agents. Nonetheless, everyone should be grateful that most of the TSOs take their jobs very seriously. They are in place to protect federally-funded airports and travelers from terrorist. Two things I observed that may have not been accurate. One - if a device like the one that had the nerve agent in the carry-on suitcase had gone through the X-ray machine, I think the X-ray machine would have stopped the belt and alerted the TSO operator. Also, when the fighting and chase seen was going on in the underbelly of the airport (where bags were transporting to cargo), there would have been more people there. It wouldn't have been vacant. Incidentally, Bateman was excellent as the terrorist; even though he didn't consider himself a terrorist - he was. A terrorist is anyone who creates terror - it doesn't matter the cause. I learned that from the TSA. "Carry On" is a really good movie with a satisfying ending. I've already watched it twice for the subtle elements that I missed the first time.

It wasn't an epic"Best Picture", but for a fun action-packed fast-paced and absorbing thriller, I just really enjoyed this. Excellent film! This was fun - and I'm so glad I'm not flying this Christmas!😀
