The Tokyo Race scene (without goofy spy plot) is maybe my favorite scene of the cars franchise from pure a design and graphics standpoint. I like the Tokyo neon lights already but transformed it into a race (espicially in this universe) is still looking astonishing after 12 years

Rod was on the verge of being captured. He gave the photo to Mater with the tracker so Finn could find it and the lemons wouldn't destroy it. They weren't tracking him, they just figured out from the interrogation that he was his associate and saw him in the race. The race scene also shows that the Lemons are everywhere, hence how they were able to find him at the airport.

This is one of the worst recaps ever. Half of what you say is said at the wrong times. Mated doesn’t learn of the bomb until London and lightings life isn’t in danger at the Italy race and when does Franchesco blow out his tires cuz it doesn’t happen in this movie
