The mods work, you literally have to just replace the existing files with the ones given and they even have matching names and placing which u can literally follow, it's not that hard, the mod is kinda glitchy with sound but overall it's so amazing

i wish there was a mod that deletes all of the cart racing from this game and makes it into a normal racer like cars tvg or mater national but on closed traskd instead of open map, like one and only thing i loved in cars 2 movie was the world championship, i hate the spy stuff, so if there was a mod that deletes weapons, nitrous, slamming, air tricks, and just left backwards driving, jumping and drifting while also actually making the cars fast (right now they race at like maybe 70km/h and thats pathetic) by making them accelerate a bit longer, making top speed higher and making the time you reach it much longer
