*sigh* I miss the old game where you could explore Radiator Springs and other parts and while there wasn't a day and night circle I remember you could make it night by starting a event taking place during the night and then when you returned you could see the city SHINE! Imagine that game but now with more locations to explore! Like Japan, Italy and London! That would be awesome! I really miss the old game! Not only was it fun as hell but the soundtrack was awesome!

picked it up for my son for switch. Pretty much the exact same game as cars 2 except with updated graphics and characters. Really don't get how Gameloft can get the actual voice actors for their mobile cars game but avalanche can't.

I feel bad this game got bad reviews because I had a lot of fun with this game and this coming came from someone who played the first game and I actually liked it but not as much as cars 2 the video game I had fun with this game and plus I love all the movies including cars 2 for some people who don't like it this game deserved better to be honest and this is from someone who actually loves avalanche but remember it's a kids game so they're just going to make it kid's friendly and make the tracks a bit a little bit boring but the tracks were fun to be honest in my opinion so yeah I feel like cars didn't deserve all the bad reviews in my opinion and if anyone is reading this then let me know what you think about this game.

I know i am a late comer to this review ut I bought the game back when it was originally released and I personally consider it to have been worth its money - is just that it caters to a different style of gameplay than in previous cars tie in released which led to a lot of expectations being proven misplaced. The racing modes are overall fun and it is one of the few racing games I have found where in the hard money you will still find the artificial rivals giving you runs around the circuit for your money in contrast to other releases where even the suppossedly most unattainable of challenges can be easily overcomed with a fast enough vehicle. The customization was meh, it is kinda cool to match up the neon and nitro oxide with the respective car colors but that is about it. Not even the sponsorship mode gives you detailed paintjob for each car, which was a missed opportunity for additional references in my opinion. I give it a 7/10, I believe that an online mode could have been a great addition both in terms of simple expansion of the player opportunities but also a groundwork for later content releases down the road. It is a shame because when playing it with other people it packs quite a punch.

Here's my good and bad list of things about the game. Good: - Thomasville Playground is actually pretty decent - The roster is decent - Even though the game is basically a copy of the Cars 2 game, I must say that I like the graphics, albeit not as much as the Cars 2 game on X360 and PS3. - It's nice that they brought back some Cars 2 tracks. - Stunt Showcase is pretty cool. Bad: - The voice acting is unbearable. - The track design isn't very strong. - Fabulous Lightning Mcqueen and Mater The Greater could've just been alternate styles to McQueen and Mater. - The story mode is lame compared to the first 3 games, assuming there even is one in this game. All you do is collect skill checks to fight bosses. - No DLC or even cheat codes. - Guido doesn't have a voice.

I think this game is fun, imo I think Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Mario Kart Live: Home Circut is harder and more challenging then this game but it's still pretty fun, especially if your into the Cars franchise like I am.

There is this neat game called "Everything" on ps4 they might like... Though youll probably have to go through the tutorial for them.. and theres options in the menu to kind of put it into auto pilot a little bit where you play as different plants and animals just running around and exploring... Then theres miencraft of course lol
