@@Matheuzin288 yes because it’s pointless and unnecessary i want all textures to be in the Wii/PS3/ROR style, the piston cup racers that had different numbers in the X360 version will not be used as they have a different style

because they were never intended to be in races, it didn't make sense for them to be playable, although i will make a seperate addon that adds them back because for some reason people want to play as them

I forgot to showcase the Tokyo Characters, other alt’s like El Materdor or Mater the Greater are intended for Minigames and will not be in races, there’s plenty of work to be done

@@codecarshioctaneAre you saying you're going to transfer the mini-games from ROR? It's impossible. As I understand it, the mod will try to repeat the ROR, without any custom deviations? You're even a paintjob Cruisin' McQueen was removed.. And I also noticed that you turned off the tourists from the races.

@@elantor this mod is supposed to be a combination of 3 games, not make everything in the game including props playable characters, my goal is to keep the aesthetics of the original game and try to stay true to how these games were intended to be, meaning tourists won’t be playable because they make no sense to be playable, they will only be playable in an addable mod that i will make once the full HO version releases, and the cruisin mcqueen paintjob is removed because it was never part of the original game, as for minigames, i make no promises but the plan is to add all minigames from both CVG and ROR with it’s original functionality or something close to it

Why don’t Sarge, Fillmore, Boost, DJ, and Snot Rod have their paint jobs added yet. They could have used the PSP paint jobs for them.

@codecarshioctane I don't know how to explain it, but there's this problem the mod has that the creators didn't know how to fix where the tires are invisible, if you look at other Cars: Hi-Octane videos, you'll see what I'm talking about. I just want to know how you fixed it

@ you mean for the ROR ones? i thought you were talking about regular lightning, it wasn’t a bug, the body model and tire models were simply seperate models, ROR can have a character use multiple models at the same time, but in the older games, a character needs to consist of one single model, and we just combined the tires and the main body into a single model so that the older games can support it, nothing more than a model edit

@codecarshioctane Yes, I meant those ones, do you have to extract something to get them to work? And plus, you're not the only one who has done it, I saw some other people that had the tires on them, so I know there's a way to fix it, I'm just trying to figure out how

@ the reason you see others have the wheels is because the models were distributed to them, only one person has actually fixed the models, and in order to combine the wheel models and the main body, you need a few tools and plugins that are public, Noesis and the Race-O-Rama plugin for it along with SLTConvert, first you convert the model from .xng to fbx using Noesis, after to edit the model and export it back to .fbx, you then wanna open the .fbx file with Noesis and then convert it to the .slt format, then you use the SLTConvert tool in order to convert the model back to xng

I didn’t really mean it to steal it on purpose or by accident. I was only borrowing it for… promotional reasons. Now… I will say that I really like your tracks and character roster for the upcoming Cars Hi-Octane 2.0 mod. I really can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future of Cars: Hi-Octane. Question is that is this version modable like the previous version? If it is, then I can’t wait to learn how to mod Cars: Mater-National Championship. So Code, one more question I got to ask you. What are the differences between Cars Hi-Octane 2.0 and Cars Hi-Octane/SuperDrive 1.9.2.3.? Side Note: As of right now, my Cars Gameplay trailer (that has your XBOX 360 version of the Cars Hi-Octane mod trailer on it) has been taken down and is no longer available on KZbin and my channel. However, the question is… are you still mad at me?
