the original cars game sucked though. in the story mode it would play the same five copyright free songs over and over on loop. the controls were awful. the graphics were not very good. the cup races were impossible because you could turn the corners sharp enough and there were always cars you already lapped in the way.

I have to agree, we went from racing cars to freaking SPIES. It makes. No sense. Mater-Nacional even plays with the international competitors idea as well, and it also adds the construction of the stadium and the headquarters, what gives us even a bit more of a sense of progression, through the game. Weirdly enough, Cars.. kind of works better as a game series than a movie series, since the games were at the very least decent. And I mean the Original game trilogy, not the new ones, since I haven't tried them and can't give any opinions.

the hardest part of this game for me was doing the side quest to get Mater become a monster truck. As a kid, I never understood how the 'hot & cold' meter worked, or what the beep sound when you were near a part, was for... 😂😂😅
