Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales [75] 100% Wii Longplay

Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales is a 2010 party game based on the following six shorts from the series of the same name: Rescue Squad Mater, Mater the Greater, El Materdor, Monster Truck Mater, Unidentified Flying Mater, and Tokyo Mater. Each short is subdivided into 5 levels. The game heavily uses cutscenes from the actual show so I had to edit out 9min and 50 seconds worth of footage to prevent the video from being blocked. To 100% the game, you must get gold in every level as I have done in this 100% longplay. To get gold in each level you must score at least 4,500 points.

I remember getting this game along with my other Wii games back when I was 12 in 2012. I actually remember playing a little bit of this, everything up to 10:38. I never beat this game though, likely due to me not being a fan of this game's controls, though I'm sure I could have gotten use to them if I was dedicated enough. Maybe also because my only exposure with the Cars franchise is watching whatever was included on the first Cars movie DVD, including "Mater and the Ghostlight," so I don't even get half the references in this game as someone who has never watched Cars Toons or any of the other Cars related media that came out after 2006. Me not taking the time to play this game properly is also another reason I'm sure. But at least now you gave me closure and being able to see the rest of the game.

I'm glad I could show you the rest of the game and I know exactly what you mean by the controls. Over the years I went to play this game twice but got overly frustrated with the controls. After the first two levels, the game controls pretty well. I just always gave up before then in the past 😂
