Why buy new? Because warranty and better interest rates. That's why.

Not to mention the Camry for example has rubbish connectivity in 2019. Carplay? forget it. of course a 5 year old Camry lost value. It should have about 60-75k miles on it.

Without an extended warranty none of these choices makes any sense to me vs new? With a 7 year old vehicle a lot can go wrong. It can cost so much where it's worth buying a new or 3 years old auto, not a 7 year old vehicle for the average person 🤔🤫🙄

Reason #1 to buy new... No one else's farts in the seats! 😆

It's true a used sedan is usually a better buy, especially if you want a higher trim. These depreciate much faster than the base models. Have noticed this while shopping for a Subaru Legacy. But the base trims as new are much cheaper, and in these examples are not that much more than a loaded used model with low miles. The other consideration is if you prefer the styling of the older car, or in Subaru's case want to avoid the latest tech such as the already dated 11" infotainment screen. On the Subaru Outback and Legacy, the 2019 models were the last year where you could install an aftermarket stereo.

You work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10K into trading from just few months ago and now they are multimillionaires

Most rich people stay rich by spending like the poor and investing without stopping then most poor people stay poor by spending like the rich yet not investing like the rich but impressing them. People prefer to spend money on liabilities, Rather than investing in assets and be very profitable

You are so correct! Save, invest and spend for necessities and a few small luxuries relatives to one's total assets ratio.
