The SUV is built pretty solid and it's made to be repairable - unheard of in modern cars. Mine is not noisy. The only problem I have is the lack of leg room as I'm over 6 ft in height. My knee hits the steering wheel and the seat can't go any more backwards. If the steering wheel was telescopic it would solve a lot of difficulty that tall people have. I was going to buy the RAV4 but the new model is plagued with mechanical and electrical problems and it's CVT.
