I watched Hurts and Wentz whiteboard video with Mariucci, It really stands out who is coachable, Hurts says teach me & Wentz doesn’t like to be interrupted and believes he is a franchise guy already without taking a snap in the NFL. Wentz is very intelligent and wants to be the leader but just watch the body language of Mariucci around him & Hurts and it’s obvious which QB leader he gravitated to.

It’s just a stark contrast the way Hurts and Wentz go about things....before starting their first game.... Hurts in his first press conference be like I need to show them “I just won’t to go out and win my teammates respect” .......and Wentz be like “Franchise guy” & “the leadership I posses” Hurts got high praise in college by everyone and ....since in the NFL Wentz got multiple anonymous reports , of being a know it all, bully, difficult.

Seems like a series of unfortunate events - 2016 - rookie year bumps to be expected. 2017 MVP type season season ending injury, Foles plays well in second half of Atlanta game on into Super Bowl QB controversy ensues thru 2018. 2018 Wentz has ok year looks somewhat awkward in play get's benched because of injury (injury prone label) Foles does well again - 2019 Struggles to prove himself to shake the ghost of Nick Foles and injury prone label (injuries on D and O, receivers dropping passes) Finishes season strong. Injured in first quarter of playoff game. Eagles brass creates another controversy by drafting Hurts in the second round. Wentz pushes too hard to prove himself again (injuries at receiver and O line) Unlike 2019 the pressure gets to him mentally. Benched in 2020. And here we are. I'm heart broken for the kid.
