I wouldnt recomend I have done that before and my tank got infested with water bugs and I had to spend hours cleaning

@@817bkne It can be done though, these are yellow bullhead catfish and they don’t get very big at all and are very easy to care for if given the right size tank

I think it’s best to leave them in the wild. They look nice but honestly they’ve learned how to survive by themselves and I think they would prefer staying in a big open space then a tank

@@ernnmclaren7623 I will have to try that, I have hand fed mine small worms and little minnows. I caught mine when he was like an inch long and now he’s about 3 after only 6 months

Lol they are actually saving the native birds if they eat baby cat fish the spines will get stuck in their throat and make sure to treat those guys for parasites if you keep one I did this once and learned from not treating them

I wish you would’ve taken a random net full of them and just put them in a tank just to see what comes of it. My grandpa use to do little experiments like that and some of those fish ended up being some of his favorites.

Carson I bet that the big ones have the scars on them because they are fighting for food and the little ones don't have scars because if they were fighting for food they would probably be the one to get eaten. Btw love the videos lately keep up the good work!!
