Head to Head | Comparing the 2021 Ford Escape to the 2021 Ford EcoSport

I bought an EcoSport 2021 SE. Now I kinda wish I had spent a few thousand more on the Escape. I want to RV, and this EcoSport really doesn't have the capacity to tow anything more than 1400lbs. That's nothing. I want to tow a small travel trailer, about 3000lbs. The Escape can do that. Excellent video. I learned a lot about my own car. Never knew there was a key in the fob! I also learned now how to fold down the back seats. Cool beans!! And the lights in the cupholder. I wonder if my car has that? My 2018 Ford Fiesta did. I lived it. So pretty at night.

Glad the video helped you learn a few things about the car! Always like to hear when these videos help owners out The 2.0L Escape would have the capacity for that travel trailer for sure.. Check to see what the trade in value would be for it if it's something you really want to do! If it's not favourable you could always look at renting out the EcoSport or waiting until the equity is more balanced out

The 4WD EcoSports can tow 2,000 lbs. which is highest in class.

I'm trying to get a 2 door Bronco, but if I can't get one an Escape Titanium with the tow package might be OK?

You’d be able to tow up to 3,500 lbs with the 2.0L EcoBoost in the escape and the same 3,500 lbs with most Broncos. Should be ok depending on what you’re towing

@@CarsWithSteve Just occasionally towing a motorcycle trailer. I love the looks of the 2 door Bronco but the Titanium Escape would make a nice, if very different, alternative. My Ranger is too long to fit comfortably in my garage. A 2 door Bronco is 36" shorter than my Ranger and an Escape 31" shorter than my Ranger.

@@SPSteve Too bad the Bronco Sport doesn't have a higher tow capacity. If you can't get your hands on a 2 door Bronco, the Escape or even the Edge would be good options
