Here we have the absolute pinnacle of motorhomes, the Carthago M-Liner 67 LRQ. Registered in late 2008, it was built on the Iveco Daily 3.0 turbo diesel chassis with a gross weight of 6,700kg and a very healthy payload of 1,300kg. The Carthago is a 4 berth motorhome with 4 travelling seats with belts.
Coming in at 8.755m long, width of 2.35m and a heigh of 3.35m, it is a very large luxury motorhome. The motorhome has a double floor height of 420mm which gives it that lovely storage, which is felt lined. The rear garage is also felt lined, big enough for a motorbike or scooter with an opening door of 1.15m wide x 1.33m high and an interior garage height of 1.36m.

The water tank capacity is a mammoth 300l fresh and 300l waste water. There is also an abundance of spec, such as an upgraded Seitz rear large skylight (£750), two medium skylights, Truma Saphir IR air conditioning which is operated through the vents rather than from a roof unit, Webasto heating, underfloor heating, 2 sets of carpets, tow bar, power inverter, cobra alarm, external BBQ and shower points, 5m Omnistor awning (£1,035), Maxview satellite dish (£2,200), twin solar panels, blinds and fly screens on all windows, rear steadies, twin 220aH batteries plus additional charge, twin SOG bogs (£190), continental gas filler adapter and Alugas cylinders plus, floor tongue and groove effect laminate including sisal carpet with non-slip back in driver cabin and living area, door step in anthracite granite and Carthago lighting in steps (£450) so much more.

Upgrade Daily Package £4,820: Iveco Daily 60C C18 “Daily Upgrade” including upgrade of authorised laden mass from 6 tonnes to 6.7 tonnes, rear axle air suspension with level lift, rear axle differential locks for better traction.
Technical Package Plus £6,660: Additional battery (total 2x 220aH) and additional charger 54A, solar panel system 2x 120 watt, 2400 watt Truma Saphir Comfort Air Conditioning system fitted in double floor, 1500 watt voltage converter with mains recognition, Webasto Thermo Top C 300 supplementary water heating.
Quick Up Package £1,085: Carthago “quick up” pull out system including TFT 19″ flat screen with connection package, bar version integrated table, L-version integrated in lateral bench.
Overall, the Carthago is the ultimate tourer. Great for two to four people on a long European cruise.

Beautiful motorhome but I think it cost a fair bit more than that when new . What was the selling price out of interest?

justin linnane This one in particular really stands out to us, it was absolutely immaculate. I believe it was retailed around the £60,000 mark.
